1. PURPOSE OF THE BRIEFING
The purpose of the safety briefing is to ensure that all training participants know how to act safely in extreme conditions, can use equipment without endangering their health or life, and understand their responsibilities in case of an emergency. The briefing helps to prevent accidents, environmental damage, and other risks.
2. SAFETY RULES AWARENESS
2.1. General Safety Rules
Participants must follow the instructors’ guidance throughout the training.
Leaving the group without permission is strictly prohibited.
The use of alcohol or psychoactive substances is strictly forbidden. Violators will be immediately removed from the training.
Proper clothing is required (long pants, waterproof jacket, hat, sturdy footwear).
2.2. Natural Hazards
Participants must be aware that changing weather conditions can pose health risks – monitoring body temperature is essential.
Individuals with allergies must inform the instructor of their condition (e.g., insect stings).
Avoid contact with animals or unfamiliar plants – some may be poisonous or allergenic.
2.3. Use of Tools and Equipment
All sharp tools (knives, axes, saws) may only be used with the instructor’s permission.
When using tools, it is necessary to:
Stand on a stable surface.
Work at a safe distance from others (at least one arm’s length).
Carry tools only in appropriate sheaths or safely in hand.
Tools must be returned to the designated location after use.
Littering in nature is strictly prohibited.
2.4. Fire Safety and Use of Fire
Fires may only be made in areas designated by the instructor.
Water or sand must always be ready for extinguishing fires.
It is prohibited to leave fires unattended, throw flammable materials into the fire, or set up camp too close to the fire.
Fire extinguishing is a shared responsibility.
2.5. First Aid Knowledge
The instructor will present the key actions to take in case of an accident:
Assess the situation and ensure safety.
Immediately inform the instructor.
Begin basic first aid procedures.
The instructor has a first aid kit, and an emergency action plan is provided based on specific types of injuries.
2.6. Evacuation Plan
In the event of a threat (storm, natural disaster, injury), the evacuation plan will be activated:
Participants gather at the designated assembly point.
Communication takes place only through the assigned channel (mobile phone or radio).
Participants are expected to help one another selflessly and remain calm.
All individuals must be accounted for on the final evacuation list.
3. RESPONSIBILITY
By signing, the participant confirms that:
They have been properly briefed on all potential hazards.
They agree to follow the provided safety requirements.
They understand that violation of the rules may result in removal from the training.
They accept personal responsibility for any risks during the training.
The organizers are not liable for injuries resulting from non-compliance with safety rules.
REQUIRED ITEMS FOR TRAINING
Please make sure to bring the following items:
Water – at least 2 liters (per person)
Work gloves (durable, suitable for outdoor tasks)
Eye protection (safety glasses or goggles), optional.
Weather-appropriate clothing, including:
Long pants
Waterproof jacket (optional)
Hat or cap
Sturdy footwear (preferably hiking boots)
Backpack – to carry your personal gear and supplies
Mobile phone – fully charged (for emergency communication)
⚠️ Participants without appropriate equipment may not be allowed to join certain activities for safety reasons.
